Getting There

Wexford is located in the South East of Ireland and is easily reached by road, rail, sea or air. Once you have arrived in Wexford, many attractions are within walking distance. Car hire is available in Wexford, taxis are readily available, and bicycles are available for hire.
Wexford On Ice

Wexford On Ice is located on Wexford Town’s Quay, across from Common Quay St and a stone’s throw from the Main Street. Use the pedestrian crossing at the Bank of Ireland to access our entrance.

 

Santa’s Train

Santa’s Train is located at the Bullring in Wexford Town.
Christmas Movies at the Indoor Pop-up Cinema, Redmond Square Car Park.

The cinema is located in the former Library building in Redmond Square (behind Sam McCauleys).

 

FREE parking at Wexford County Council Car Parks from Monday 19th December to Saturday 24th December from 10am.

 

Travelling By Car:

From Dublin: Wexford Town is only a 1hr 30mins drive from Dublin, take
the N11 to the South of Dublin City (M50), and follow the M11/N11 motorway
to Wexford.

From Cork: Wexford is approximately 2.5 hours’ drive from Cork. When
leaving Cork, take the N25 through Midleton, Youghal Bypass, Dungarvan and
Waterford City, New Ross and follow the R769 into Wexford Town along the Quay.

From Rosslare: Wexford Town is approximately a half hour drive from Rosslare.
When leaving Rosslare, take the N25 for Wexford. When approaching Wexford Town

follow the R769 into Wexford Town along the Quay.

 

Travelling to Wexford by Rail:

From Dublin:

Trains for Wexford Town will depart from Connolly Station. Please see www.irishrail.ie for train times.

The coastal train journey from Dublin to Rosslare is arguably the most scenic of all Irish rail journeys. The Dublin / Rosslare line serves County Wexford with stations at Gorey, Enniscorty, Wexford. Services are direct and require no changes on the way.

Trains from Dublin to Wexford depart every one to four hours. The journey time on this route is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Travelling to Wexford by Bus:

Wexford Town is served by a number of bus companies who provide frequent
connections to other major towns and also serve smaller towns and rural areas.
Wexford Town Bus Station is located within walking distance of the Ice Rink, Town Centre and served by taxis.

Travelling to Wexford by Sea:

The Ferry Ports of Rosslare, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin and Cork are within easy
travel distances to Wexford Town. Rosslare Europort is situated at the end of the N25 in Rosslare Harbour. The port is 20 minutes from Wexford town
